Network Administrator

Principal Responsibilities:

Individual will perform technical support for local and remote users within Morris Cerullo World Evangelism including: troubleshooting user computer problems involving the Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access), Anti-virus software, and the Windows XP and Vista Operating System.

In addition the individual will use Veritas software to perform nightly data backups to tape. They will verify tape backups, maintain tape storage, and restore data from tapes as needed. The individual will perform maintenance and upgrades to Windows 2003/2008 Domain Controllers, file servers, and others as assigned by Network Engineer.

Will create new user accounts and e-mail accounts and/or modify and delete these accounts when required. Will also maintain support number of server software including SQL 2005, WEB Server IIS 6.0, WUS server, SMS server, among other Microsoft products. Perform maintenance and upgrades to Cisco and Dell Ethernet switches and work with Juniper Netscreen firewalls. Maintain and troubleshoot communications problems on T1 Lines from the main facility to remote facilities and between the main facility and our remote offices, as well as troubleshoot and maintain VPN connections between these offices. Also work on PBX phone equipment and NEC phones.

Work Hours: • Full time, 40 hours, 7-4 Mon-Fri

• Be available to travel approx 3 times a year anywhere in the US for MCWE meetings

• On call for any emergency network problems, and be available for after hour work including weekends when needed Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in computer science/engineering or other equivalent technical education

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and Window 2000/XP operating systems

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining common x86 hardware

• Must be detail oriented

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to use a command line environment

• Should be self-motivated and willing to learn

• Understanding of basic TCP/ IP protocols

• Knowledge of common protocols like SMTP, IMAP, DNS, HTTP Additional Qualifications:

• 2 years of related experience • Understanding of VPN style connections is a plus • A+ Network + (or MS/CISCO) certification
